Welcome to another installment of FRESHImage Presents! We’re at the midway point of the Lenten Season, and if we’ve really decided to challenge ourselves this Lent to grow in holiness and virtue, perhaps some of what we’ve decided to “give up” or “take on” is becoming a bit taxing. This is a good thing, it means we’re really making an effort to grow closer to God and become the people we have been created to be. But it also means that we could probably use a little reminder of why we’re doing all of this and some encouragement to help us along the way. This is exactly what we hope to offer you in this FRESHImage Presents: Learning Asceticism from the Desert Fathers and Mothers.
