December 21: O Radiant Dawn

O Radiant Dawn, splendor of eternal light, sun of justice: come, shine on those who dwell in darkness and the shadow of death (Christian Prayer, 130).

In this reflection, Tony Crescio explores the meaning of the “O” Antiphon for December 21st, O Radiant Dawn. As Tony explains, this antiphon announces the Light that will shine in the darkness to dispel the shadows of sin and death, and transfigure us into bearers of that same light.
