John Chrysostom on the Family, Education, and the Transformation of Society

Welcome to FRESHImage Presents!

What is the family? What is its purpose?

Society would have us believe that the family is primarily for economics, but Christianity has a much different view of the family. The family, within a Christian worldview, is the fertile soil where a child’s heart, mind, and soul are cultivated to celebrate the eternal Sabbath. The purpose of the family is to make saints.

In this FRESHImage Presents, Tony talks about St. John Chrysostom’s view of the family’s role in education with the transformation of society in mind.
